The Sarmiento High-School is located in the heart of Recoleta, the most expensive neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Founded in 1892, was the High-School of the ruling class for many years. Currently, in their classrooms, students live from Slum 31 and middle class. Social differences create tensions which hinder the organization of a student center in common.Looking integration, the Rector and Professor of Literature, proposes a transformative pedagogical method, generating an intense debate about the very reality of young people. Without giving definitive answers, "After Sarmiento" addresses the pedagogical challenge has raised public school at this stage, leaving a disturbing question: Current school has the role of integrating excluded from the system?
