Two twin (Megan and Jessy) live in a secluded lodge at the edge of a wood. Jessy is an open mind and a little naive character. Megan is her exact opposite: suspicious towards whoever and brutal towards Jessy. Tom is a passionate hiker. He has lost the job and despite her father Sean cheers him up, Tom decides to make an excursion to calm the nerves. During the car ride, the radio inform the audience that the police is on the hunt for a serial killer. Tom leaves the car near the wood and starts his excursion. He finds the cabin and sees Jessy at the window. He remains
attracted by the woman and, with the excuse to fill the canteen, he succeeds to enter in the house. He meets Megan that, immediately, appears unsociable and suspicious. A sudden thunderstorm forces Tom to ask hospitality. Reluctantly, Megan accepts. During the dinner, Megan confesses to Tom that her twin Jessy doesn't love the extraneous. She was raped
from a band of stragglers. She's become a “circus act” to exhibit by media and TVs and she never recovered from the shock. Megan offers a drink to Tom. The drink is drugged and Tom awakens confined in a room and immobilized.
He will discover that Megan has been stricken to what happened to her sister. She hates all the men and want to inflict to Tom the same abuses suffered by her twin. Jessy tries to convince Megan that Tom doesn't have anything to do with the rape. He's only a hiker. But the strong character of Megan has the upper hand over the shy Jessy. The psychological and physical actions of Megan against Tom, convince Jessy to save him.
Finally Jessy will succeed in her intent, but the truth that will emerge from the situation will overcome every Tom's imagination.
