As a young boy, Christopher De Luca's innocence was ripped from him when he found the murdered bodies of his mother and sister after they were killed by a fast rising, local crime boss. Years later, he has returned to Italy as an undercover police officer, hellbent on revenge. He soon works his way into the ranks of the Giardino crime family and steadily climbs the ladder, biding his time until he has an opportunity to strike. Now Christopher is forced to ask himself who he can trust and do can you see a betrayal coming in a world that is based on a fatal mixture of loyalty and dishonesty? Now Christopher must gain the trust of his new employers, whilst keeping a watchful eye on those people closest to him and at the same time, protect his own, dark, secrets.
