New York City. CHRISTIAN, 25, from a rough neighborhood, and SUSANNE, 38, the daughter of a wealthy Frenchman, are at the beginning of their mutually beneficial relationship. When she takes him to the South of France to visit her father LOUIS, Christian finds himself falling for the housekeeper CHARLOTTE, 21. Meanwhile, a LOCAL MAN, was just released from prison for the murder of a young woman 20 years ago. He used to date Susanne and still seems to be obsessed with her. Christian is offered money to scare him away, but it all goes terribly wrong.
