Synopsis

Segun and Ifeoma Adeniyi own and operate the Royal Hibiscus, a charming boutique hotel that is in financial trouble. Segun strikes a deal with a property developer, Deji, to sell the hotel, as long as it stays open. Meanwhile, the couple’s only daughter, Opeoluwa (Ope), returns from London and is shocked at the shambolic state of the hotel. She decides to turn the hotel around.

When Ope meets Deji, she is unaware of his offer for the hotel and he doesn’t know that she is Segun’s daughter. Despite her resistance to his charms, Deji begins to fall for Ope. His business partner, Martin, begins to worry that a love-struck Deji might sabotage their money-spinning deal, so he reveals Deji’s identity to Ope. Ope is devastated and cuts Deji off, but she decides to stay in Nigeria and raise money to save the hotel.

Just when it seems like all hope is lost, the hotel receives an anonymous donation; enough to save the Royal Hibiscus. The donor turns out to be Deji, and Ope realises that she has found more than her purpose in life; she’s also found love.
