Anwesh Agarwal, proprietor of Scotland’s first Indian restaurant, is watching helplessly as his beloved Kanpur Curry House, with its sticky carpet, fish tank and 1970s piped sitar music, lurtches towards foreclosure.Salvation appears in the form of the new chef - but if this is the divine intervention Anwesh prayed for, then something’s gone wrong - the man’s arrived from India on a tourist visa!Anwesh’s feisty young independent daughter, Naaz, is thus thrown into an excruciating dilemma.
