Claire and Bruno form for twelve years an established couple, an "institution". During a day in the country bringing together all their families, they go for fun, pretend they separate. To their surprise, they realize that no one believes in their relationship. Family, friends are committed to finding good reasons for this "rupture". Claire will become aware of their dissatisfaction and Bruno the need to be more vigilant. But is not it already too late?
