An autobiographical story that allows me, after several years spent outside of my native country of Chile, to explore the resonances between my experiences of exile and those of other Chileans dispersed around the world, who I met and filmed

Children of exiles dance cueca at international championships, the traditional dance of a country they know best from the stories of others, like a construction. An identity that the director defines as "dismembered". "Exile is not a word, nor a drama, but a vertigo, a restlessness," she says. Memories between Chile, from where it was plucked, and France, where it grew up. Thus, through fragments of images, memories that come from one side or the other, together with a family secret, a scattered and painfully melancholy story is constructed.
