Carla’s simple life, running a small ranch, is turned upside down when her niece, Willow, arrives, looking for an escape from her abusive home. Although Carla is apprehensive, she takes Willow in. The circumstances for Carla escalate when the government attempts to take over the ranch, and her boyfriend, Darren, is arrested in a confrontation with her sister’s violent boyfriend. Unwilling to give in, Carla takes matters in her own hands and embarks on a battle to save her home and her niece.
