Synopsis

Maryam (22) is sentenced to death after killing her husband Nasser (65). In Iran, where the law of retaliation prevails, a victim’s family can forgive the killer. For Maryam, this pardon plays out on the country’s most popular reality show on the day of Yalda, the longest night of the year, and can save her life.
