Mannered, meticulous, methodical. Peter (Peter Sarsgaard) is a self-taught scientist of the highly specialised profession of "house-tuning": calibrating the sound in peoples' homes in order to adjust their moods. When he tries to "cure" his new client Ellen (Rashida Jones) his inability to fix her issues drives him to question his life's work.
