Hana, a 10-year-old girl was orphaned by the disastrous earthquake and Tsunami occurred in Okushiri Island, Hokkaido in 1993.The next day, she’s taken in by a 25-year-old distant relative Jungo.Despite the emptiness, losing her family in front of eyes, Hana becomes attached to Jungo. Jungo did everything to be with Hana and they became a "family".Since, they have lived together for 15 years, just two of them. Jungo loved Hana, and Hana did the same.The film begins on the day before Hana’s wedding in 2008 and then flashes back to different points of her life with Jungo, just like flipping pages of an old photo album.
