A South Korean man travels alone in China, looking for North Koreans people. He wants to meet those people that he has learnt to hate since he was born. During his quest he travels from Incheon (South Korea), to various Chinese cities: Dandong – Qingdao – Shanghai. Along his journey, risking his own life, endangered by the Chinese police, he meets North Korean refugees who escaped. They tell him their heartbreaking stories.
