Synopsis

On a tuesday of august, Didier Noirot, former Jacques Cousteau cameraman, calls Chrys Rochat in Rio de Janeiro via Skype from the Geneva's airport saying: " I'm on my way to Patagonia, if you want to film the whales, that's your chance." The next day, at 9a.m., Chrys took a plane to Buenos Aires to join Didier Noirot and Thom Fuss who were heading to Península Valdez to film the Southern Right whales for Thom's own documentary. From that point on, Chrys boards on a adventure at sea to meet theses incredible beings and to see one of the greatest spectacles on earth, the whales reproduction in one of the largest sanctuaries of the species, Puerto Piramides, Unesco's World Heritage Site. Fighting the tension and the weather, Chrys shows, with great humor, how she fell in love with a Southern-Right-Whale during her 6 days adventure in the patagonian landscapes and the challenges and dangers the whales have to face to ensure their survival.
