A recent work of Yukisada Isao, who is establishing a school of his own through directing films about love with subtle sensitivity and refined rendition. He narrates the images of a heart-breaking love story, as if they are crossing like weaving fabrics. Hayama and Izumi become attracted to each other, beyond the realms of a normal high school teacher-student relationship. After becoming a college student, Izumi meets Hayama again, but feels too much heaviness from reality to accept her love. Matsumoto Jun, a singer-actor, and Arimura Kasumi play the roles of heartrending lovers after a long hiatus as actors, while Sakaguchi Kentaro, a well-known model-actor, plays the role of the heroine’s boyfriend with seasoned acting.
