Shuchiin Academy is the collecting ground for the nation’s most promising elite. There, a bright and sagacious school president and top score-getter on mock college entrance exams, Miyuki Shirogane (Sho Hirano) meets Kaguya Shinomiya, (Kanna Hashimoto) class vice-president, possessor of brains, brawn and beauty and daughter of a major conglomerate CEO. The attraction is obvious, but their excessive pride and lack of humility get in the way of their confessing their mutual feelings.
