5 former Navy SEALs in their late 20’s/early 30’s is connected by their mutual military past, as they share the longing of the adrenalin kick, that the battlefield once provided. The five men have sworn each other an ode of trust. They now lead a double life. On one side, comfortable in a Danish suburb, on the other side, a professional life of thieves, which their families know nothing about.The coup they prepare will be their last, since the group has started to fall apart. Not everyone can handle the pressure. Their time in the military has given them scars that cannot heal. So, will they keep their promise to each other or the promises to those they love.Our main character, Mikael, loves his family. He believes that he does all of this for his family’s sake, and he just isn’t aware of how much he needs that kick of adrenalin. He gambles with the promise of his family’s love for him and his double life hits him hard. The coup is executed well, but the prey and the lie is pulling him down as a stone in the well.
