Synopsis

Freshly back in his hometown to look after his sick father, the Police Captain Didier Mège, known for his affirmed methods, is called on a crime scene: a dead body was found in the forecourt of the Abbey of Rouen. The man apparently fell from the passageway, but the strange position of the body intrigues Captain Mège. It reminds him of a stained-glass window that his grandfather had made in the beginning of his glassmaker career.
Captain Mège is soon obliged to collaborate with the local journalist Eve Chêne who receives messages from a mysterious informant. Could he be the killer looking to reveal the reasons for his act? Through drawings of stained-glass windows, he brings up a betrayal that took place during the Second World War which involved the Captain’s family. A story that has been haunting the family ever since, until the day vengeance comes knocking on the Captain’s door.

In MURDERS IN ROUEN, we rediscover Frédéric Diefenthal in the role of the Captain.
