This is a neighborhood where unemployment, drug trafficking and organized crime are part of everyone’s daily life. After twenty years in jail, the charismatic Isham Amadi is completely different when he comes back to his native city. At the same time, the residents of La Commune discover that the run-down buildings where they have lived for years are to be pulled down and replaced by new housing projects. But they soon realize that this is a plot to get rid of certain ‘unwanted’ citizens and they decide to resist.
