Synopsis

Based on the epic tale of the uncompromising ecumenical Greek writer, Nikos Kazantzakis, nominated 9 times for the Nobel Prize in Literature. His fame spread in the English-speaking world due to cinematic adaptations of Zorba the Greek (1964) and The Last Temptation of Christ (1988). The film traverses 5 countries, his life and loves.
