Synopsis

In Joanna’s life nothing is given once and for all. Today’s friend becomes an enemy. Following your heart turns into a curse. When, one day in the midst of World War II, this lonely woman takes care of a little Jewish girl, she doesn’t know that her life will be bitter-sweet from this day on. In this film fortune decides about everything. It lets people find one another and parts them in the next moment. It gives love, but the price for it is tremendous. It fills the loneliness with a promise of happiness.
