A stranger rides into a frontier town terrorised by a psychopathic gang. This man believes one of them killed his wife two years before. The stranger is a physician, with the skills to heal. But his obsessive hunt for the killers puts everyone at risk - especially the woman who loves him and the young man Henry Abbott who idolises him. Although set in the 1880s, The Physician features songs from modern eras, in the manner of Moulin Rouge.
