Synopsis

Domingo narrate passionately the weekly Sunday soccer matches in the neighborhood’s improvised field. His dream is to become a profesional commentator.
The players and spectators are used to his excessive baroque narration and they have simply integrated him. The players even agree to be interviewed by Domingo when the match ends, as the professionals do.
Domingo goes from one job to another: he works for a few days at a gas station until his envious coworkers force him to quit after Domingo pumped gas to "the beast" and receiving a big tip from the US president who was visiting Mexico. He also work for a day advertising used clothes through speakers mounted on an old pickup until police come and arrest him and his employer who stole the clothes.
Domingo's bad luck seems to come to an end when his best friend gets a job in security at a local TV station. Domingo gives him a cassette with "his best soccer commenting" so he can give it to a famous commentator.
His friend fails to deliver the cassette. They don't even have a tape recorder to play it. Domingo is disappointed but he's determined to fulfill his dream. He awaits for the TV commentator and fights with his own friend in order to be listened.
Finally, Domingo gets an audition. He cleans his old suit and goes to the TV station. In the recording studio jitters betray him, he cannot follow the match's actions on the monitor and fails.
Domingo is depressed. It's Sunday but he doesn't feel like going to the field and narrate. But later, as he's going to the store, he notices something strange in the neighborhood. It seems to be unusually empty. And as he gets closer to the field, he is surprised to find all of his friends and neighbors waiting for him. Candy and tacos stands are there, the players haven't started the game, they all look at him. His friend has even prepared a set of speakers and microphone for him. Domingo, still astonished, takes the microphone, sits in his usual spot and starts commenting as the ball rolls.
