JULIE (22), student, travels - along with her boyfriend MARCEL (28), student, and his old Porsche - towards the south of France, intending to stay in the cottage of her artist mother SUSAN (45) for a few days. A hidden matter is silently rumbling within Julie; she doesn’t know her father who is said to live missed near Goa. Whereas Marcel is keeping secret his drug addiction before Julie – all problems included… During the attempt of having sex next to a picnic area near the highway they are being observed; causing a really disturbed reaction of Marcel. Shortly afterwards they start to quarrel out of a trifle and Julie jumps off the car anywhere along the highway. Marcel, annoyed, continues driving and finds his way to the cottage by himself. There he unexpectedly meets up with Susan, who has also just arrived and is working for her new exhibition. Meanwhile Julie gets in the caravan of a down-at-heel Greenpeace active named DIETER (39). She spends the night with him on a beach and they have sex. The next morning he and his caravan have disappeared. Julie wakes up on the beach on her own. When Julie and Susan meet up, their conflict shows. The situation gets worse and Marcel almost is crushed in between the forces. His reaction is enhanced drug use while he is utterly ignoring the telephone calls of his father he is in constant war with. Julie’s father actually isn’t as far as assumed. To the contrary, he is residing around the corner, his name is HEINRICH SCHRAMP (50), he is a typical success manager and is observed by Dieter who is following a perfidious plan. Heinrich only recently has purchased the villa following Susan’s instigation. Susan’s hope is to force him by that new neighbourhood to finally accept his fatherhood of Julie’s. In fact they have been generously provided for but now it is time, for not loosing Julie entirely, his fatherhood must come up. The former owner of the villa Heinrich has purchased is called Müller, he is animal’s feed producer and exactly him Dieter is taking aim at because of quite some messes. When he notices the difference during his observation he nevertheless follows through with his plan. Meanwhile Susan tries to persuade Heinrich to accept Julie as his daughter. Heinrich frees himself from this demand with a new cheque. His fundamental problem is that he already has a family. Shortly after Susan has disappeared Heinrich is brutally assaulted by Dieter and directed towards Germany tied to an explosive belt. Heinrich during his journey happens to meet Julie and later he gets to know JOHANNES (35) who is a man of the mob. For Heinrich it becomes a travel of humiliation. Dieter slips away after a dangerous crash with Susan while she goes to visit Heinrich while Marcel gets in the hands of a dealer who virtually fleeces him and drives him to the edge of exhaustion. The explosive belt around Heinrich turns out to be a mock-up, meanwhile Susan gets into mortal danger and Julie tries to rescue her.
