Five college friends in need of extra credit agree to spend a weekend on a small farm way out in the country. Miles from the nearest town and cut off from the outside world with no phone service, they are understandably shaken when their car breaks down and they are trapped on the farm, helplessly awaiting rescue. But when a member of their group mysteriously disappears, they are forced to ask themselves whether this is mere coincidence or an ill-omen for them all. By the time they've decided that they are not simply being paranoid, they've already unwittingly uncovered a sinister plot designed to make them the stars of a bizarre snuff film.
