When the world is in danger, we call upon superheroes. They are stronger, faster, and smarter than us ordinary folks, and they are ready to sacrifice themselves to ensure our safety. But what happens when there are no superheroes nearby, and the world's fate depends on a bunch of egotistical, irresponsible oddballs in their twenties? Geek, Swanky, Hellcat, Rocker, and Loserette have a night of their lives at a mega-awesome party under the thrilling title The Apocalypse; but when they wake up the next morning, they discover a completely different apocalypse – the real one. The city has turned into a deserted pile of smoldering ruins, and our guys can't for the life of them remember what happened last night.
