Synopsis

The Aparicios, a family made of women cursed to become widows and only bear females, discover the body of the first husband of one of them at their ranch in Xico, in the state of Veracruz. This leads the Aparicios to search into their past to try to put an end to The Curse and face their present: when her employee Rodrigo proposes to her, Alma has to choose between a “conventional” life or to continue with her daring sexual therapy that helps women with self-esteem issues; Mercedes, in the middle of a crisis with her couple, will confront her prejudices about being happy as a couple when she meets Juan, the foreman at the ranch; Julia also considers him a possible donor that she and her girlfriend Mariana need in order to have a child.
Ana de la Reguera leads an all-star cast including Iliana Fox, Tenoch Huerta, Damián Alcázar, Paulina Gaitán, and Joaquín Cosío in The Aparicios, the sexy film adaptation of the successful Mexican TV series.
