Alejandro is a quirky young writer going through a case of “writer’s block”. His girlfriend (Teresa) helps him find a steady income writing children’s stories at her uncle's publishing house. But news of a serial killer in his neighborhood catches Alejandro's interest, starting to hunt him, obsessing him. While keeping the appearance that he is writing the children's stories, he commits to his dream of writing a novel. What starts as an inspiration for a crime novel, slowly turns into a reality, leading him to face his uncanny world and become a man interested in justice.
