Synopsis

ELIS is a feature film based on the life of Brazilian singer Elis Regina.
The film covers the history of Elis Regina since her arrival in Rio de Janeiro at age 19 until her tragic and early death. Despite all the difficulties, success comes fulminant and the life of Elis gains national and international recognition.
Young girl coming from a humble background becomes one of the biggest music artists and is considered until today the greatest singer in Brazil.
