François, a Congolese journalist who flees his country, seeks to rebuild his life in Brazil while solving the disappearing of his wife and daughter.

François, a Congolese refugee, loses his wife while fleeing to Brazil. While he searches for her and tries to survive with his son in São Paulo, François starts to work at a restaurant for refugees. There, he gets do know Joseph, another refugee, and Clara, with whom he starts to develop a relationship. François needs to know what happened to his family before he can decide what to do. Joseph has the answers François needs, but he still does not know it yet.
